Job Summary:

Lake Highland’s Technology department seeks an Instructional Technology Specialist to partner with Lower School faculty and divisional leadership to enhance teaching and learning through effective instructional design, thoughtful integration of digital tools, and innovative pedagogical practices. This role is faculty-facing and instructional, focused on supporting teachers in designing and delivering high-quality learning experiences. This position provides coaching, collaboration, and professional development, ensuring alignment with Middle and Upper School divisions.

This is a full-time, fully benefited, 12-month, exempt position. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups to apply.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leading or facilitating professional learning, instructional coaching, or faculty development initiatives required.
  • Proficiency in using Apple devices (macOS, iPadOS) to support teaching and learning required; experience in an Apple-based instructional environment preferred. 
  • Proficiency in instructional platforms such as Google Workspace for Education, Seesaw, Canvas, and other classroom learning applications required; Google Certified Educator preferred. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience within a PK-6th Grade environment preferred.
