Media Specialist

St. Joseph Catholic school is a Prek-4 - 8th grade school in Marietta, GA.  We are hiring for a Media Specialist for the 2026/27 school year. This is a full time  benefits eligible position. This is a 190 school year contracted position.

Core Responsibilities:

• Organizes library material, equipment and facilities.
• Plans for, equips, and maintains attractive facilities.
• Maintains library catalog, online data bases, etc.
• Assists students with reading selections.
• Supports curriculum through collection development.
• Provides leadership in all aspects of the school media program.
• Oversees the inhouse student broadcasting team
• Oversees the school yearbook production.
• Guides students in finding and using a wide variety of materials.
• Teaches library and research skills to students as articulated in Archdiocesan curriculum guides.

Education, Training and Experience: 

• MLIS degree and certification required.
• Prior school library/media experience desirable.

Salary:  Archdiocesan Teacher Salary Scale based on degree and years of experience.
