Job Summary:

Lake Highland’s Technology Department seeks a full-time Senior Google Workspace Administrator who is responsible for the daily administration, security, automation, and optimization of the school’s Google Workspace environment and its integrated services while also supporting the school’s Apple ecosystem, ensuring reliable device management and seamless experience for students, faculty, and staff across MacBooks, iPads, and all school devices. 

This is a full-time, benefited, 12-month, exempt position. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups to apply.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field is required. An equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience may also be considered. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on systems administration experience in Google Workspace (or equivalent depth of experience) required. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Google Admin Console, Google Apps Script (automation, triggers, Workspace services, structured logging), and GAM (Google Apps Manager) for bulk operations and reporting required. 
  • Strong experience managing Apple endpoints in an educational or enterprise environment (macOS and iOS support, configuration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management) required. 
  • Familiarity with endpoint security fundamentals and identity/access management best practices required. 
  • Experience with an MDM platform such as Jamf or Mosyle (administration, deployment, smart groups, compliance) preferred. 
  • Scripting beyond Apps Script (e.g., Bash/Python) preferred. 
  • Ability to conduct access reviews and permissions audits preferred. 
  • Experience aligning Apple device management with Google Workspace identities preferred.
