Job Summary:

Lake Highland's Athletics department seeks an Assistant Athletic Trainer to support the sports medicine program for the health and well-being of student-athletes through the care and prevention of athletic injuries. Functions include, but are not limited to, assisting with the implementation and supervision of rehabilitation programs; maintaining accurate records of injury reports, notes, and treatments; and assisting in medical emergency situations. 

This is a full-time, fully benefited, exempt, 10-month position. The role occasionally demands long hours (10+ hours and up to 6 days per week), including nights, school breaks, and weekends. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups to apply.

Education/Experience:

  • Master’s degree in the appropriate area of specialization required.
  • Certification by the National Athletic Trainer’s Association Board of Certification (NATABOC) required.
  • State of Florida Athletic Training Licensure required.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED Certification required.
