Job Summary:

Lake Highland's Lower School (LS) seeks an Art Teacher to instruct Primary Grades students in the primary art curriculum. The teacher will perform related teaching tasks and functions, including planning, research, curriculum alignment, assessment, and record-keeping. The teacher will also serve as a member of the Arts Vertical Team and will participate in and facilitate the planning of various on- and off-campus Arts festivals. 

This is a full-time, fully benefited, 10-month position. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups to apply.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Art or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Must have a college major or be certified in the area of study for which they are responsible for the major portion of the day. 
  • Minimum of three years in-field teaching experience preferred.
