Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver science instruction using project-based, hands-on, and differentiated strategies.

  • Create a structured, positive classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles.

  • Monitor and assess student progress; maintain accurate records and communicate with families.

  • Adapt instruction to meet individual and small-group learning needs.

  • Implement the school’s social/community curriculum and behavior expectations.

  • Collaborate with faculty, counselors, and administrators to support student success.

  • Participate in meetings, professional development, and school events.

  • Support extracurricular activities, clubs, and student programs as needed.

  • Maintain classroom materials, equipment, and supplies.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years teaching experience preferred.

  • Science teaching experience required; Special Education experience preferred.

  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, strongly preferred.

  • Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to differentiate instruction and use creative, hands-on teaching methods.

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, LMS platforms (FACTS/RenWeb or similar), and classroom technology.

Mondays-Fridays 7:45am-3:45pm
