Job Summary:

Lake Highland’s Facilities department seeks a Facilities Technician AM Supervisor to direct daily workflow, monitor work quality and service standards, respond to campus maintenance needs, and communicate operational updates to Facilities leadership. The Facilities Technician AM Supervisor will also support preventive maintenance efforts, safety compliance, and campus readiness while operating within established procedures and budget guidelines.

This is a full-time, fully benefited, exempt, 12-month position. Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or coursework in facilities maintenance, building systems, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or related field required; experience working in a school, higher education, healthcare, hospitality, or similarly customer-facing environment preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or lead experience overseeing maintenance or facilities personnel required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage workflow, and maintain accountability in a service-oriented environment is required.
  • Working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
  • Proficiency with work order and preventive maintenance systems (CMMS) required.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license and ability to be insured under the school’s vehicle policy are required.
