Position: Upper School Math Teacher - Long Term Sub

Location: Mill Springs Academy - Alpharetta, GA

About the role: We are seeking a creative, student-centered educator to support academic and social growth through engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction. This full-time role may include teaching five academic classes and an Advisory.

What You'll Do:

• Design and deliver project-based, hands-on, student-driven instruction

• Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and abilities

• Assess and track student progress; communicate regularly with families and staff

• Foster a positive classroom environment and strong student relationships

• Implement the school’s social curriculum with an emphasis on community

• Participate in meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred); minimum 3 years teaching experience

• Special Education degree or endorsement preferred

• Experience working with students with learning differences

• Creative, flexible teaching style and strong collaboration skills

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

• Proficiency with educational technology, including Google Classroom and LMS platforms
