Job Summary:

Lake Highland seeks a Lower School (LS) Associate Director (AD) of Student Life to work closely with the LS leadership to provide comprehensive support to the LS community. The AD supports the holistic development of all LS students, with a focus on student activities, community-building, and leadership initiatives. Responsibilities include serving as the liaison to the Parent Association, coordinating student life programs, developing service learning opportunities, and overseeing student leadership programs. The AD role also includes maintaining effective communication with parents, teachers, and the Parent Association, supporting day-to-day operations, and carrying out other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Lower School.

This is a full-time, fully benefitted, 12-month, exempt position. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups to apply.

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, Educational Leadership, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching or leading in a lower school setting required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative leadership role, preferably focused on student life or activities, required.
  • Independent school experience is preferred.
