Enrollment/Advancement Coordinator

Part- time position - It is an 11 month position Mid July - Mid June. approximately 28-32 hours a week. Does have paid holidy time and sick/personal time, ability to participate in a 403B.

Reporting Status: Reports to the Directors of Advancement & Enrollment; serves on the school’s Advancement Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Director of Advancement in implementing the approved school’s program of institutional advancement.
  • Has working knowledge of school policies as articulated in the handbook.
  • Manages donations to the Annual Fund using the school’s approved financial software.
  • Prepares regular reports on Annual Fund progress.
  • Maintains donor database and manages recognitions as directed by the Director of Advancement.
  • Works with Director of Advancement and/or Director of Enrollment on special as needed
  • Maintains positive public relations.
  • Coordinates matching funds from employers.
  • Coordinates systematic and efficient handling of applications and communications with parents of student applicants
  • Works with tech office to prepare student information for review by administrative team.
  • Schedules & Conducts school tours
  • Collaborates effectively with administrators, teachers, and parents.
  • Engages and informs prospective parents and students about the school, and the benefits of catholic education.
  • These and all other duties assigned by the Director of Advancement & Enrollment and/or the Principal.

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Background in fundraising and/or enrollment preferred
  • College degree preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Represents school and the archdiocese in a positive and professional manner.
  • Multi-task oriented.
  • Excellent clerical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer/word processing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with groups of volunteers.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with administration, teachers and parents.
  • Ability to lift 20-30 pounds.
  • Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time.
  • Bi-Lingual English/Spanish is preferred
