Position Summary: The Housekeeping Associate reports to the Woodward North Service Manager and is key support position for the Facilities Department. Schedule is Monday-Friday, with additional weekend work based on operational needs.
 
Specific Duties Include:
  • Ensures that buildings/facilities are cleaned and maintained to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with sanitation regulations
  • Responsible for cleaning restrooms, classroom, dining facilities, common areas, furniture, floors, exteriors, etc. as assigned campus wide
  • Responsible for reporting anything broken or damaged, so it can be repaired or replaced
  • Attends all required staff meetings
  • Reports anything unusual they see happen on campus to immediate supervisor or security
  • Complies with all rules of the department as specified in the employee manual
  • Attends all staff meetings and training as required

  • Other duties as assigned by department leadership
Required Skills:
  • Must be able to follow supervision
  • Must be able to use a vacuum cleaner and other required cleaning equipment
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs
Minimum Job Qualifications: 
  • One year experience in housekeeping or other related field
  • High School Diploma preferred, but not required
The Housekeeper Associate, Woodward North position is a non-exempt, twelve-month position. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Benefits are substantial.
