Art Teacher (Lower School)

Job Summary:

Lake Highland’s Lower School seeks an Art Teacher to instruct students in the intermediate art curriculum. This teacher will perform related teaching tasks and functions planning, research, curriculum alignment, assessment, and record-keeping. Additionally, the Lower School Art Teacher will participate as a member of the Arts Vertical Team and will participate in and facilitate the planning of the Winter Park Art Festival, Maitland Art Festival, and Lake Highland Arts Week. 

This is a full-time, fully-benefited, 10-month position. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups to apply.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Must have a college major or be certified in the area of study for which they are responsible for the major portion of the day. 
• Three or more years of in-field teaching experience preferred.
