Middle School Band Teacher

General Description

Lakeland Christian School seeks a Middle School Band teacher to join our Upper School Fine Arts faculty, committed to “sharpening minds and shepherding hearts”.  The ideal candidate should be able to masterfully teach all levels of Band, including beginning, intermediate and advanced instrumental musicians; must demonstrate proficiency in conducting, instructing all instrument families, and selection of appropriate repertoire, as well a thorough understanding of music theory and performance techniques of diverse genres; must be willing to work in collaboration with the High School Band director and LCS Fine Arts department.
