Lower School Lead Educator- Siesta Key

The Out-of-Door Academy seeks a Lower School Lead Educator to join the Lower School Campus at Siesta Key. We are committed to providing a relevant and student-centered learning experience.

Responsibilities - Reporting to the Head of Lower School, the Lower School Lead Educator will be responsible for the following:

• Oversee and plan individual, whole group, and small group work that differentiates instruction.
• Assess, collect and maintain data on student academic progress.
• Provide timely feedback to students and collaborate with faculty to offer specialized support in pursuit of each student’s learning goals.
• Facilitate and design effective work and productive dialogue among students and teachers to enhance the program and student experience.
• Select appropriate materials and resources to enrich and enhance the curriculum.
• Live the school’s mission and core values of respect, integrity, service, excellence, and responsibility.

Qualifications - The following experience, skills & knowledge are required and/or preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• A passion for learning and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and the Google drive platform.
• A successful track record of working effectively with a wide range of constituencies including students, faculty, staff and parents.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a 10-month full-time exempt position available in August 2025. Compensation is highly competitive and commensurate with experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
